Kite Party is a late-winter gathering of kite fliers from around the world. It is not an organized festival, but a chance for fliers to take a break from the cold, and come together for a fun weekend of kiting.

The event is organized by Dave Shenkman, of the Kite Connection.

This year's Kite Party was attended by IKE members from Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, California, Arizona, and even Great Britain.
