Schedule of Events
Saturday & Sunday the outdoor kite flying festival begins at Lake Storey Park. This event is FREE for the whole family. Grounds open Saturday at 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday grounds open at 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Cookouts provided by local area provider. Saturday the Candy drop will take place at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Weather depending). The Silent Auction starts Saturday and ends Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Sunday the Candy drop will take place at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Weather depending). Kite flying lessons will be provided by professionals both Saturday & Sunday. Each year new and exciting events take place during the two day outdoor event. This event is brought to you by the City of Galesburg Recreation Division and local businesses in the community!
