This two-day festival is held on a huge field near Richland Community College. This is where the annual Farm Progress Show is held so it has modern bathrooms with indoor plumbing--no outhouses. The field has power boxes set up every couple hundred feet which are easily worked around. There is plenty of room for SLKs to fly without tangling, and plenty of space for sport kites.

They'll also have a display of printing plates and memorabilia from Hi-Flier kites. If you're old enough, you'll remember those 15 cent paper and stick Diamond kites you used to buy. Decatur was where they were made.
