Flying Saturday 10/22 or Sunday 10/23?
So . . . . I'm thinking about flying Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather, wind and general state of the honey-do list. Anybody else interested?

I'm a possible, depending on whether I need to be at the shop on Saturday and/or weather on Sunday.

My vote is for Sunday. Maybe Busse Woods.

I prefer Sunday as well, but I may have a family commitment Sunday afternoon in naperville, at least for a couple hours.

At least it's now safe to visit Naperville--the pig has been neutralized.

Neutralized being a euphemism for shot dead & "disposed of" possibly meaning "bacon"
It looks like I will probably be free on Sunday afternoon. Busse?

Sunday. Busse. I'll be there about noon thirty.
(And bring that bacon.

I added this to the Facebook page too, with a start time of 1230.

It was good to see and fly with the Busse regulars, Steve Anderson and his wonderful wife and his Dad (84 years old) and his son David Anderson, David Illescas and AdventureDog, Edmond Dragut, Bill Meier, Karl Kitemeister (whose real last name I can't remember), and a couple of new guys, Shawn, and Zac.
Shawn has been flying for couple of years and has developed impressive skills, especially since all he has been flying is Rev II's and has learned on his own. Zac is one of the guys I work with, and had his first go at flying a kite with more than one line. He pissed me off by being in pretty good control of my Rev right on the first launch. Definitely a natural! Either that, or I'm the best kite flying instructor in the world (not likely).
The weather was beautiful and the wind blew strong, 15 mph, gusting to 25. Great fun was had by all attendees. Adjustments and modifications were discussed and made. The only thing missing was a couple of beers and the rest of you.
Thanks for the smiles. 'Til next time . . . . .
