Aren't you wondering what an ETA is?

No, but I am wondering what those people on the beach are doing dressed in space suits. It hit 99 degrees here yesterday ... looks like summer here is refusing to go away.

Cheers,
Tom

It was chilly on Sunday. but I was perfectly comfortable. And if you know me and my aversion to cold, you know it was OK.
The winds were great all day on Sunday. We could tell because we started and ended our day standing in roughly the same spot. The winds hadn't died or shifted or anything that caused us to move around the field.

It was really a lot of fun. I think we need more time--I brought about 50 kites (SLKs and weird quads) that I didn't even put up in the air.

The dunes are a beautiful spot, so we'll do it there again next year. And speaking of next year, we'll do it a little earlier than this year. Let's set the date right now: The first weekend of October, the 6 and 7th of 2012.

Maybe I could do a day of that, we'll see...It's the weekend of Susan's birthday. Kayla had the good sense to be born in the dead of winter. The others, not so much...
Keep calm, and park it in the pocket

IKE is on Image too!

I'm pretty sure I'll be out of town for some client work that weekend ;) Just kidding, I have no way to know yet . . . . .

Looks like you all had a great weekend (even with too much wind). Jynx has posted some stuff over on facebook, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet as I'm still at work. I wish it had been any other weekend, I really, really wanted to be there.

I did get to fly for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday. Here's a couple pictures of me with some of the local flyers . . . .

I'm betting Mike knows where I am . . . . it was a good time flying.

Yep. Well, I'm not paying the travel expenses . . . so I don't think my client will pay for two. And, no offense, but if they did, then I'd bring my wife. They get their money's worth though. I worked about forty hours over the weekend. And I'm still at work at midnight (local). But the systems came back up on Monday with no interruptions. Also, beer tomorrow night to make up for the weekend.

I don't think I'll be back for a while (unless I can convince them that I should be here roughly the middle of next september, about the same time as Schevingen  ).

Thank you all for being so helpful and friendly to Fabi, Brisa and I. We had a lot of fun. Since I was gone last weekend, it's going be really rough for me to get away this weekend again. However, I can't wait to get out again.
