Cool Music/kite Poetry

Postby Knoted4ever » Sun, Jan 31 2010, 05:16 PM

It's no secret that i am extremely fond of E. E. Cummings' poetry. i suspect that he is sage #1, first class. Below is a sample from the album entitled "Nowever" by Curium. The whole album consists of the poetry of Cummings molded to perfectly blend with synthesizer music; it is very well done. He uses various peoples' voices throughout the album; the following sample is one performed by a 3 year old. The album includes one song/poem that is about someone flying a kite.

Interesting. I have a little trouble understanding all the words though.

This one is from the poem with the first stanza-line of "plant Magic dust".

But, instead of saying the word "plant", it sounds like the word "in" is used alternatively.

Here is how the poetry reads:

...plant Magic dust

.......expect hope doubt
...........(wonder mistrust)
...............despair

...........................and right
...............where soulless our
...........(with all their minds)
.......eyes blindly stare

...life herSelf stands
