* CLEAR RIPSTOP *

Postby Hector Herrera » Fri, Nov 17 2006, 06:38 PM

Hi everyone! Does any one knows where I can get TRANSPARENT RIPSTOP? I would like to make the nessesary and final improvements to IKE Baron. The clear plastic I used in the prototype was not good enough for IKE.
It is of outmost importance to better IKE :thanks: .
Hector.

The transparent material used in kites is mylar. It's not cheap though Hector.
You can find it at KiteBuilder
and at Hang-em High fabrics
At hang-em high, she calls it "clear film". Look at Cobra or TriSpi films on the hang-em high page.

These materials are used in sail boat sails, just like the ripstop we use, so they are strong.
