I was reading in my book of kites and have a ? for the sewing gurus. What determines where the strong side of the material goes, when doing a sled or parafoil.
The only example in the book talked about a delta, where the strong side of the material is on the leading edges of the triangle. From the nose down to the tail. With it there, it would make a high wind/quick kite. With the strong side at the tail, bottom line of the triangle, it would make a light wind/ slow kite. But with the sled/parafoil, I dont see where that applys.
Any help would be appreciated.
