Anyone want to fly in Watseka, IL?

Postby Mike » Mon, Mar 24 2008, 08:43 AM

I got this request from the Watseka Park District. If you'd like to help out, let me know.
I am currently looking into hosting a Flying 4 Kids event. I am looking for someone close to our area which is Watseka, IL that would be willing to volunteer their time. If you could forward me any contact information on that person I would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Crystal Blair

i live relatively close to Watseka... please forward the info to me.

i have occasionally flown in Watseka; as far as i have found... there are no real ideal places to fly. Of course, i do not know the whole town... and may be wrong! i hope i'm wrong!

There is the RC Plane land... but that is relative small and limited, though it is somewhat free of trees and buildings; flew there and had cars stop and give compliments. There is where they do fireworks... which has a lot of buildings and trees; red-neck types stopped there, sitting in their truck, yelling and shouting at me like they saw an alien from Neptune! Yea-haww!
