Supersonic ?

Postby TeamTrejo » Wed, Jan 09 2008, 05:12 PM

I have a loaner Supersonic to try out. What is the recommended line strength?

I was just going to use my 90 X 90 lines and the B handles.

Have heard it's super fast but not as much pull as the Blast.

Any tips from the experts.

You can get by with the 90# line. But, if the wind picks up past 12, I'd put 150# line on it.

This little kite is deceiving and has great pull and is quick as hell... The advice I was given was to fly it aggressively.

On the handles, I use my blast handles. But, the handles that come with it are very short... for a reason... with the longer handles, the kite is extremely sensitive and very easy to overcontrol.

Thanks for the tip.

I have some Rev II handles that are pretty short. I'll try those.

What Babb says about the handles is true. If you over control the kite it will pop out of the sky.
Once you get used to the kite though, try using longer handles. Long handles make flic-flacs on the supersonic easy.
