I am from Cabery, IL, but I think we've met b4 in Ponitac. I am the one that goes out there wtih my two boys and husband (Mike) We flew in Pontiac today as a matter of fact. I'd post a pic of me on my avatar, but I can't find one where my eyes aren't closed. LOL.

anne - okay i remember you. i was seriously thinking about flying today, but did not. did you fly at the rec - plex.
my hypnotist was calling my name along with my addiction. was there too much wind.

Yes, we flew at the rex plex though it was locked up for some reason. Winds were ok...I was having major problems flying...could have been the cold...LOL

hi. i have a friend that works for the park dept. and they keep it locked during the winter time because in the past, kids or others have felt so inclined to drive thru the grass and fields and tear up the area. they have also damaged the bathrooms. yea, when weldy and i went on new year's eve we parked at the small chain on the south side and walked to fly. i knew i should have went. the chains won't deter us. we can always park and walk.
