***FANGS***

Postby Hector Herrera » Wed, Nov 14 2007, 08:17 PM

3 years ago, when I started flying stunt kites, my first one was Nexus, and like many people, I tought I could make one...but...making a dual kite is not that easy. After 3 years, I decided to make it...and I came up with this kite...I NAMED IT "FANGS" cause it has white at the tips of the wings. Anyway, FANGS does fly very well, it does perfect straight lines, it's speedy and AXELS very well, but...IT DOES NOT FADE??? I don't know what I will have to do, to have it in fade, but I will just continue fixing the bridle one way or another, untill I get it right.
NOT BAD FOR A FIRST DUAL HOME MADE KITE.
It has 7 1/2 feet wing span
Ripstop nylon
P300 Skyshark frame
and it does fly with little wind.

Great job, Hector  Looks good; can you post some video?
It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.

I am sorry, no videos for a little while, I had to send the video camera to repair after my encounter with Santa Ana winds last time, remember? I may get it back at the end of the month. when I get it back I am definitly gonna film FANGS in flite.

THANK YOU!!! ALL!!!

I was thinking about puting a bit of weight at the tail, 1/4 oz. or less, then maybe make the tunnel a bit deeper, and of course, "THE BRIDLES"...they have to be perfect. I have Deep space, and I COULD COPY the bridles, also, I'm thinking about making one exactly as Deep Space, a carbon copy,??? or... maybe....Nahhh...
It has to be with my own dimentions, specs, etc. RIGHT.
My very own kite, and I have some nice ideas allready. You'll find out. so long budies.
