Re: *TRADITIONAL KITE*
Traditional kite has been "MODERNISED"...
I replaced the long bamboo sticks with P90 skyshark spars, and I found a way to make the center easy accessable for an easy assembly. IT WORKS JUST FINE. with the new changes I can set up the kite in a minute, and up in the air. It flies very smooth...

Re: *TRADITIONAL KITE*
nice!
How big is it?
Here's an old hexagon shaped kite of mine. The spars just cross over in the middle and pass thru a loop of line.
It is 5 feet wide. The cross over you mention, is what I eliminated with the center device, wich is 1 1/2" OD, with ferrules to hold the spars, wich are 2' and 4 1/2" for a total width of 5'
I really like the center, is easier for assembly and transportation. When I fold the kite it's only 2 and a half feet wide, easy to put away.
Bridle is the same.
