Going back to Queen for a moment, Under Pressure has a good beat, it's easy to fly to, I'll give it a 95.

I'm not on the quad team but I've always been a big fan of "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.

It has lots of variation in intensity and wind/sky themes.

Ahhh well, great minds and all that....

Speaking of Led Zeppelin, how about "Magic Carpet Ride"?

Well... we can go many ways on this... if you watch the competitions, the music is dramatic and varying in intensity to allow the competitors to show their stuff under a variety of conditions... unfortunately, while they are good for competition, they aren't all that interesting for the people watching as they have no idea what to expect...

iQuad seems to have had great success by using songs that instantly get people's attention because they are familiar and keeps them interested because of the music as well as the skyshow..

Think of it in this way... I love fireworks... the best fireworks shows I have ever watched are those accompanied by music.. Why? because it engaged several of my senses at the same time.

Think of being at a party... what happens when some of your favorite songs are played? Kind of enhances the experience, eh?

How about shows that feature singing and dancing? Ballets? Opera? Concerts?... it's the aural as well as the visual aspects coming together that enhances and really makes it an experience to remember..

I could think of several other examples but I think it all comes down to something deep inside and instinctual.. music moves us... sometimes in severely emotional ways... Obviously, music is a large part of my life in many respects, being a musician... But on a general level, I'd bet that anyone you ever talk to can relate some way that music moves them... I personally can relate that I can be put in a place and state by simply hearing a song... there is one song that when I hear it, takes me immediately back to 1968, sitting in the passengers seat of our 1966 Bonniville with the door open in our driveway... I can feel the sun as it was, hear the sounds as they were and smell the smells as they were... it would be frightening if it weren't so damn cool... there are literally hundreds of songs that I hear where I can put myself exactly where I was when I first heard them... and it goes on...

SO, the point being, if we can engage peoples emotions with familiar music, we have a great starting point to engage their attention and combine the 2 things together to make it an experience that cannot be forgotten...

Make any sense?
