Quad Team Practice
Quad Team Practice
I know everyone can't make it. But if there are at leat 4 Rev fliers who want to practice/play together this weekend, let's do it.
I'm available, so that leaves 3 more.
Respond with either Saturday or Sunday or Either.
I'm available either day.

I'm up for some practice.
Is there some central location to meet?

Re: Quad Team Practice
After 3 straight weekends of play, it would be hard to sell for the family. I'm going to need to be a homebody, I'm afraid.

We'll try to pick something central to whomever can come.
Also, if a weekday is better for someone, go ahead and say so.
Weekdays are ok for me too.
I figure we will try to get some practices/play time off and on with anyone who can come. As long as we have at least 4 people we can play. It doesn't have to be the same 4 (or 6 or

Saturday pm works best for me.
My wife is going to kill me if I don't play golf with her on Sunday.

Re: Quad Team Practice
Finding a meeting place that is not too far from Milwaukee (Isaac) and Me (Champaign) is pretty tough.
We have met in Kankakee before:
about an hour for Zach, and Ken.
90 minutes for me.
But it's gotta be 2 1/2 to 3 hours for Isaac.
I'm open to ideas.

Hold on sports fans, Saturday may have opened up for me...
Re: Quad Team Practice
Sorry to hear about your friend, Chris.
Re: Quad Team Practice
Maybe we can split up into two groups. Like a northern Illinois / southern WI group and a Kankakee area group. Or something like that.
Re: Quad Team Practice
we finally found out what the arrangements are for my friend Mike... I may be able to meet up after the 'festivities' are done.... all depends on where we are meeting...
And I think this is going to be a bit difficult to split up at this point... we really need to practice together as a team in order to know where we are going and how to get there... splitting up into groups is something to consider later on, once we have some things together...
We have a really large distance to cover here.... Kankakee really is the halfway point for 99% of us... the halfway point when including Issac's trip down from cheeseland (sorry buddy..lol) is more like somewhere in the Joliet or Alsip/Homewood area...
Who's familiar with these areas?

Re: Quad Team Practice
I better take a pass on this weekends practice. Since I live so far from everyone else I don't want to cause difficulty for rest of the group.
Besides, the wind is forecast to be from the east all weekend. I can [strike]play[/strike] practice at Veterans Park.

Re: Quad Team Practice
Hey Mike what do you think about the spot I had shown you and Tom. Back when I was dropped off from G.H.? Out by the airport. I would say between you and Issac, I would be about half way. Or maybe Zack might know some where around his neck of the woods, which would also be about half way between the two furthest apart.
Just a thought.

Mmmm...I'd say more like 70%.

Re: Quad Team Practice
It seems there is no perfect place.
Let's try it this way, see how the group splits up, and see if we get enough people in any one area.
I'd say, since we are traveling so far, spend the day flying. Meet in the morning and leave in the afternoon.
How many folks would be willing to meet in Kankakee for the day?
How many folks would be willing to meet somewhere in Chicago (name a place, preferably with a map)?
Or either one?
I can meet in Kankakee.

I could meet near Chicago.
Busse Woods. Is that a good place to fly?
