Sevylor has been making inflatable rafts and kayaks for ages. They must feel they've got it figured out or they wouldn't risk selling it.
I guess if you keep the rope short it's no more dangerous than water skiing and the like.
Looks like fun!

I'm tossed on the subject of flying tubes behind a boat.... it definitely does look cool and something I would want to try..

BUT, if you don't have people falling out and hurting themselves, you will end up having some idiot who cuts off a water skier or other boat and ends up decapitating someone with the line...lol
