I started on this project last month and then just had too many things to do since then... BUT, I FINALLY got this spike ball DONE..
As I was sewing it, I just kept thinking...
WHAT WAS I THINKING!
This was a real pain and a lot of material... anyway, here he is... a little deflated...
I want to name him Cled... I'll end up letting Elie choose the name though.

It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.

it looks charming and should be a hit. Good job, Babbman!
Why Cled?
Why Cled?
Re: Babbman - 6' Spike Ball
a few more pics of Cled... Took him out for the 1st time last night where Chris and I flew... had the kids and listened to a few exclaim..."WHAT'S THAT BIG YELLOW BALL!"
inflates well and holds the air great in thanks to Mike and his valve idea..

We did find a few holes in one panel though... I think it was due to my cats as the pieces were laying around for about a month and as soon as the cats stepped on the fabric and it crackles, it would freak them out and they would flintstone it out of there...lol
and as for the name...
before Elie was born and we were thinking about names, one of my friends and I were thinking up horrible names for kids... Cled was one of them... it kinds of sounds like a hammer hitting an anvil to me... anyway, I gave Elie the choice to name it between Oliver Bolivier Butt, Cled or something she wanted to choose... she said Ca-led and laughed...so it became...
Now, as I looked at it on the field, it's rather clownish so Cled the Clown fits pretty well

It looked great at Naperville... bright colors and so new-looking! The kids really loved it! Stuff like that really adds to a great festival, i think!
