Hello From MO!

Postby AhMayzon » Thu, Apr 19 2007, 12:39 AM

Howdy all.

I'm Donna from Missouri; I'm out west of St. Louis.
I mostly fly sport kites (duals and quads). I'm also into kitebuilding; everything from miniatures to sport kites to SLKs.

Looking forward to meeting more fliers from the area. Also, if anyone's ever in the St. Louis area wanting to fly, look up the Gateway Kite Club!

Welcome Aboard Donna,

I met you out at MAKR this pass year. I was the one who was hanging out in the class room that Cliff was teaching and where I also met Ron(StringDiver) that night. I have seen you out at G.H. in the past too.

Again welcome to the club.
May Ol Ma Nature never hold her
breath on you.

Helllllooooo Donna!
Great to see you here!
I'm glad you're going to make it to Grand Haven this year after all. Will other members of the Gateway Kite Club be coming too?

For those that haven't had the pleasure of meeting Donna yet: not only is she a very nice person, she is also very good at flying her duals & quads, and her sewing is top notch.

Here's photo of some nice appliqué on a duallie:

Hi Donna,

Nice to see you here. I too met you at a MAKR meal. (I sat between you and Donna S.) I enjoyed hearing about your kite travels.

Looking foward to seeing you fly!
TTFN,

Yeah Jim, you're just a LIITLE bit farther west... :rotfl

Mike, I don't think any of the other Gateway members are going to be there this year. There's usually a couple, but I think it's going to be just me this year. Haven't heard from everyone though. Should see 'em this weekend, as we've got a big event for the St. Louis Art Museum on Sunday.

Those kites that Cliff taught at MAKR just fly awesome. I had them out last weekend, and a kid came up, so I let the kid fly the whole train for a while. Must make more; six just isn't enough. :-D

Hi Donna,

I never met you, didn't see you at MAKR or anywhere else. I just had to post something.

Hey wait a minute. I think I did meet you. I gave you a diet pepsi for your ride home. Am I right?
