I could use a good pic of a big festival for a "kite talk" power point for kids. It'd be nice if it's was a midwest festival. Grand Haven pics would really be great! I had one of Kites on Ice but it'd be best to exchange that one out for an exisitng festival. The KonI shot had a ton of different kites in one pic. The big uns, the teams, the snow boarding, and art kites, banners and so on. It got lotsa ohhs, and ahhs from the kids and generated a ton of questions to boot.

What would really kick butt is a VIDEO of say, all the Illinois fests of last year, to show them and others... ...if only someone HAD some... ... and would SHARE it! :P

Ok, the problem is that I rarely leave my kites, so while I have over 10,000 images of kite festivals, most ore of big kites.

I think that I can only attach 3 or four at at time so there will be two posts. Most are not local.

They're perfect thank you Al! Geez I feel like I'm right there at a festival, these will look great blown up on a wall.

Way cool!

I may have some video from Milwaukee last fall, but I don't think it's of great quality.

I'm sure I'll have lots after Grand Haven, as I'm planning on going...
Keep calm, and park it in the pocket

IKE is on Image too!

I like your photos Jeff.
I think you're going to like Grand Haven. Try to get there in time for the indoor flying on Friday evening.
And of course, you'll have to try flying a quad while you're there.
