No problem. There were more than I thought once I started typing them out . . . . and that's a good thing. It doesn't even include some of the long distance possibilities like Wildwood and other east coast / west coast festivals. Plus not all the shops have updated their events calendars . . . .

OK, I think your festivals that have 2016 dates are updated to the calendar and this thread. There are still some on the linked page with 2015 and older dates so I did not add those. Let me know if there are any further updates.

Just updated the list with the Fly a Kite Fest in Green Bay, June 25th.

From FB, it looked like the TI festival had some good winds. They had a Rev mega fly on Saturday

I received word that Kites-n-MPX has been cancelled. They may reschedule, but we don't have a date yet.

Unfortunately, we have another festival scheduled for that same day.
I'd like to do Shipshewana though, maybe we can work out something for 2017.

OK, I thought perhaps since Shipshe doesn't conflict with Hoover this year, there might be a chance. Shipshe is always the last Saturday of April, regardless of how many Saturdays there are, so most years, it will conflict with Hoover.

So I was reading the Wisconsin Kiters newsletter, and it looks like there might be an event in mid-October downstate in Pontiac. Not sure if it's official yet or will be more of a club fly type event.

Also note - Fair Oaks Farm, which was on, then cancelled, is now back on again for May 14th.

The Macomb Kite Festival this year is Sept. 9 & 10th. I'm sorry I didn't catch it sooner. If it's not too much hassle, would you please update the op? Sorry about that - I should have updated the date in the fall on the website.
