Rev II Fly - December 20, 2015

Postby basicbill » Sun, Dec 20 2015, 03:36 PM

I almost put up a post asking if anyone wanted to get together. But it was last minute so I just went to a local park by myself for about an hour.
Winds were gusting up to 30 mph. Got out my Rev II which loves the breeze. And lashed it to a set of new 40 foot lines from Big Mike. Then hung on until I added a few more knots of brake to tame it.
Set up my GoPro in time-lapse mode for something different. (Watch it topple from the wind.) Then a regular video.

Merry Christmas y'all. Happy New Year.

That has to be the zippiest Rev II I've ever seen! At least the first half of the video. Glad you got out to fly. I haven't been out since I went to Pontiac after turkey day.

Whole new experience on 40s, isn't it? Once you get used to the tiny window, it's kind of fun. I'm more likely to fly short lines in light winds, rather than 30+!

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year.

Looks like you had fun. Cool beans.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, and also to all of IKE.
