Ok, I bought a Rev...
Ok, I bought a Rev...
It's scary, beautiful and I think a little bit vintage too! I've yet to successfully pilot it into doing anything but a lazy arc shape back to the ground. I took it out for its maiden flight on a day that there wasn't enough wind to do much damage, and seemingly not enough to fly in either!

Re: Ok, I bought a Rev...
The easiest way to learn is to hook up with another Rev flier. Where are you located?

Another dark side convert on the way . . . .
Agreed with Mike - find some fellow rev flyers, and your learning will be much faster.

You're around Belvidere, right? If so, you may be interested in joining us at the location where we may fly tomorrow. Don't know if, where or what time yet, but stayed tuned to the 6-20-2015 fly topic to find out.

I'm positive my hands are not fully connected to my brain now...
The best way to describe my efforts while flying my 1.5 is this: trying to crash yet failing creatively.
I'm starting to get it, but I'm also just as close to pioneering teleportation using a banana and duct tape.

Ok, who told you about the banana and duct tape? We were all sworn to secrecy.

Re: Ok, I bought a Rev...
Thursday looks to have cool fast air moving through, so sport kites are coming out. I'm off work Thursdays and Sunday, otherwise I'll be at the retreat too.

Re: Ok, I bought a Rev...
I can't do it this week. But we can keep an eye on next Thursday if you'd like.
