Just to let y'all know, I'm getting closer to getting a block of rooms for us. Lots of phone tag, etc. When it's settled I'll update the first post in this thread with the info. Hopefully by Monday...

I strongly encourage everyone to try to be there both days. The wind will different each day and you don't want to miss out!

OK,
Here's the hotel info:
We will be staying at the Best Western Indian Oaks.
http://bestwesternindiana.com/hotels/be ... indian-oak

To get the following rates you must call (219) 926-2200 or toll free 800-552- 4232.
Tell them you are calling for the group rate for "IKE Day" (I didn't come up with that name)
edit:***I just noticed that my receipt said "Kite flying day" instead of "IKE Day", which was last years code words. So if they can't find "IKE", try "Kite", or even my last name (Kory). Sorry for any confusion.

The date for the room is:
Saturday Sept 27, 2014
and the rates are:
Std. 2 Doubles Non Smk : $89.99
Lakeview King Non Smk : $99.99
Lakeview 2 Queens Non Smk : $109.99

You have to book soon. You have to book by August 27
The rate is refundable, so there is no reason not to call right now!
To cancel the rooms, give 48 hours notice.

I'll also put this info in the first post of this thread. Hope to see lots of you soon!

Where did you go to book a campsite? my schedule opened up and I need a simple tent site.

Nevermind. Found it.

Let's do a roll call.
(you can still book a room through their website, and you still might get the kiter's rate if you call)

Don't know. Hoping for both days, but maybe only one (not sure which day). Probably won't stay overnight.

I won't make it this year ... I'll be trying not to get sea sick. I had a lot of fun at last years retreat, so I'm sorry I'm missing this one.
