The horizontal portions of the deck are balsa cored and they used plywood inserts where the deck hardware was attached. There is a decent sized cockpit with some good storage areas. It's going to take some practice to learn how to take advantage of the diesel prop walk, especially with the somewhat tricky layout of my marina. But I have read some less flattering comments about the build quality, particularly the hull-deck joint, and also questioning the boat's ultimate stability. Again, not a reason not to buy the boat, but it means it's rigged wrong.
