this retreat mark the one-year point of REV for me. I see and understand where my skill is at, and need to work on( lot of it)
Hopefully I'll see big improvement by this time next year.

We need to get together and fly. There must be a few fields between us along rt. 47 somewhere ... We'll drag TMadz along too.

Love it Jay! :) Don't worry, I flew with them today and people said they could hear my heart pounding for the first 10 minutes :)

I'll practice with ya!

It was great to see everybody again, and thanks for making it a great weekend. I had a great time, and enjoyed flying with everyone - especially the group flying. It was nice to have everyone (including Jay) in the group flies. We've all been there, myself included . . . . and I'm just lucky nobody got the time I took Jim out of the sky today on video or still picture  . . . .

Plan ahead . . . next year's retreat will be here before you know it. Let's plan a club fly sometime before it gets too cold. I'll have a chat with the wife about the October schedule.

Nice pics, Jim, thanks for sharing. Good to see they twisted your arm enough to get you into a group fly. Me, I was too focused on flying to be nervous. So focused on following, in fact, that I never saw kite #1 coming before our head-on collision!

I'm grateful that the group invited me in. That kind of flying forces you to be more precise than you'll get with flying solo, even if you're working on it by yourself.

Unfortunately none of the photos or videos caught me during those rare times when I was actually in position!

It wasn't really a matter of twisting my arm, It was more a matter of timing and a lineset. Jynx was awesome enought to let me use hers, but i was helping to get NEMO up yesterday during your group fly and didn't have time to get set up. Today i was rockin(if i can call it that) the Duals all day so I was in that zone. My whole goal this weekend was to TWIST LINES! Jynx said go ahead.. and I listened to her!

Flying with people really helps. I get stuck in a rut. Xsay SCHOOLED me with his ninja moves :) I could fly for 10 yrs and he'd still be better/different than me. Zero, we need to get together sometime and JAM!

Lol. didn't know I did any schooling, but if it help you anyway at all I am happy to help. As for better than you I'm far from being better than you(different yes) everybody is different. I'm always up for a jam if the timing is right( with my family) just let me know. I have so many thing I have to work before next year in solo or in team flying. Nice to know that you got in some team flying.

Hey everyone,
Adventure Dog picked these as the best pictures I took. I had a blast and we have to plan something before it gets too cold and when its cold.

Where do you live?

Someone needs to create a mapping of real names to forum names so I remember who's who. :)

Swannie part of it is fun in guessing. here are a few that we also at the retreat.

Dennis - Mytoyz
David - illescasd
Steve - goestoeleven
Jay - kitevoice
Mikey - Darkspark
Xaysana - zero1199 (sounds like Say)
Jim - Trigger
I think that is all the difficult ones from the weekend, everyone else uses there real name/nickname.
