Another WKS event I can't attend . . . this is making me crazy! The boy scout troop that I want my son to join is having their open house that afternoon from 2-6 pm, so I don't think there's any way I can make it. Dang!

:-| You missed one of the most AWESOME flys I've ever attended. The WKC had almost 40 red, white, and blue biggies flying while I flew my white B-Pro Rev with red, white, and blue 25' tails on 250' lines... and got to dance with the big guys! :jester:

The sun came out 8-) temps about 60... and WINDerFULL!

Posted photos on FB... Ya had to be there to really take it all in! ...Never before have I seen such a patriotic sky painting!

WOWzers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome. I bet it was a great time and deserved to all out heroes.

To all of our veterans out there I give you great thanks. You're our family, friends, neighbors who have given of yourselves to protect our freedoms. I am eternally grateful.

To my brother especially, Marine Lt. Colonel Scott (first name). You have served with great honor for 28 years and have finally put in your papers for a long deserved retirement. Thank you. We can never repay you.

Great looking WKC mini-fest. Wish I could have made it up there on Saturday, but the timing just wouldn't work out. We had thunder & rain down here, so I did not get out at all yesterday, and today was yard work day . . . .

And also - a BIG thank you to all the veterans out there.
