Flying up in the clouds

Postby Frodos Majik » Sun, Jul 03 2011, 04:26 PM

Well I once again have not been here in awhile, but I had to do a post after this past week. The HHR group had a gathering out in Colorado and I brought my kites with. One of the places we went to was Pikes Peak which is 14,110 feet up at the summit. At about 13,000 feet there is a nice size area to park and take pictures, well guess what I did. >:-) Yep I flew my vented at the top of the world!!!

Here is a shot...

Bet that was fun, were you breathing hard?
The most important part-----Did you get up the hill in under 11 minutes??
If you did it in under 10 minutes you will be my new hero!

Cool Jeff you going for vacation or job related? The view is PRICELESS Jeff enjoy the drive up too. Unless you are taking the train ride up.
Yea the shots with HHRs in background were cool looking Mike, but had to post shot of Kris and I just in case any doubts of where it was really from. :-D

It's for vacation. We have some friends in Colorado Springs, so we'll be there and do Pike's Peak. I've been there once before, it's really great.
