2nd IKE Family Picnic(CANCELD- Changed To Club Fly)

Postby backdraft » Fri, Sep 11 2009, 10:11 AM

Hey All,

Its picnic time!!!!! How dose Saturday September 26 sound? I talk to a couple of people and that was a good date for them.

We can use the same format as last year, bring your own food and drink, bring some yard games if you have them(Ken), bring bikes, skates, or roller blades if you want but I think we should be able to fly if we want. The only thing about flying is you have to fly a kite that is not your normal kite type.

Thanks,
Big Mike :LogoRevAni:

Do to everyone’s busy schedule the picnic is canceled, but I am posting a club fly for Saturday the 26 at Pontiac from 9am till ? if anyone is interested in doing some flying.

Jo Ann and I are planning on attending.

Any thoughts about moving to "Mikey's field" ... some roller blade roads next door, playground equipment for the kids and less trees to block the wind.

Mike, thanks for taking the lead.

Cheers,
Tom

Me and Shari are in, That morning at Perry Farm there is a walk for SIDS, Shari is walking in it. It starts at 10am and goes until everyone is done walking. I am unsure of how many people are going to be involved, and how crowded things will be. Anyhow we will be there, wherever it is decided to have it. I am with Tom, Perry Farm is Prettier, But Hawkins/Limestone Park is more open. Either way, Looking foreward to it.

You will not bring meat to grill, Tom!

How long will the events last? I'm hoping to make it after work.

Everyone make sure to read the first post--the picnic has been canceled and is now a club fly in Pontiac.
I'm flying home on the 26th, so I wont quite make this one.
