I don't recall seeing anybody in our club with dual stacks,

Jeff,

If you mean dual line stacks, then Jgrob and Pkrekel come quickly to mind in addition to kiteking who just posted. Jgrob probably doesn't have any pictures, but Pkrekel should have some.

I wonder how a dual stack of quads would fly ... a stack set close in and a second stack set farther out ... could be interested.

Let see I have Nexus 5 stack, Micron five stack, Gomberg stack of 3 and 10 stack of Dynakites.
