Custom Rev

Postby Mike » Wed, Dec 13 2006, 08:29 PM

David finally got Lolly to take a photo of the custom, limited edition, patriotic Rev. Evidently the photo I posted before wasn't quite right.
Anyway, here it is. Looking at the photo, I see it does rain in Southern California, and the hand holding the Rev has long sleeves on. Brrrr. Might as well stay here in Illinois :-D

looks good without the Mylar panels
It's a great satisfaction knowing that for a brief point in time you made a difference.

It was here.

It looks like an early Rev 1

The sails used to say something about T-300 Modulus Graphite or something like that.

I'm guessing he's not an experienced flier--he put the spars on the front of the kite.

Yes, I didn't know that was the kite you guys were talking about. That guy had several for sale, and they all had the spars on the front.

No wonder he was selling them. They probably didn't fly real good.

I got one just like it (different colors) off ebay for $99 and it flys great. I am going to replace the bridle with an extra Rev 1's that I have so that it will not need leaders. Oh yea, I know which side the spars go on  .

Hi Mike,
Great forum! Lets see if I can bring this back around,,, I wanted to bring the T-300 to Wildwood but alas I procrastinated too long and won't make it this year. It sure sounds like you all are going to have a great time.
Denny
