Re: What Lines
Hi Jack, This is what I found, it may help you.
Pre-measured and attached stacking lines, 150# x 85? Spectra lines.
I'd suggest, to get in touch with Chicago Kite, David may have it right away for you.

90's are typical and can handle almost any wind situation. 50's are used in very light wind but when it comes down to it, it's more about technique than line weight when flying light wind. Work on the technique. There is some very useful information in the forums and on other forums about light wind Rev flying. Also check over at Kitelife as I believe there is a video or 2 on it.
On length, we use 120's for team flying and I've seen preferences ranging from 75' to 100' and shorter. I believe most precut sets are i75' or 85'. We typically buy a roll of 1000' and make up our own sets of 120's.

Re: What Lines
Yeah...90 lb.
My two sets are 75' and 120'.
Well, actually, I also have a 25' set, just for the novelty of it.

Re: What Lines
As far as flying with the rest of the club, having a set of 75' and 120' will mean you match the rest of us.
Out in the world, 85' is pretty common too.
iQuad flew a team of 4 on 65' when street flying in Japan. It felt pretty weird.

Re: What Lines
I like to use lines between 100 to 150' long for flying stacks.
It depends on how big the stack is. The more kites, the stronger the lines.
It gives you plenty of wind window to play with.
Add some 100' tails to each kite and watch the people crowd around you.
Here is a mixed stack flown on 500 lb. lines.
The end result of too much pull.

Now, where is that iQuad video of Grand Haven in 2008?
