Warm Weather And High Winds

Postby Jeff » Tue, Apr 15 2008, 04:09 PM

Forecast says we could be in for our first 70 degree day tomorrow.

Also in the forecast are some rather high winds...we're talking 20+ sustained, with higher gusts.

I think it's about time for my first lunchtime fly! 8)

I've been out every day that it's been above 45 and windy during lunch... had to fight over the field with a company softball team today... they didn't use the diamond that was there... they had to use the field... the same one I fly in...

Buzzed them a few times...lol

Man, it's whipping out there.

Flew at lunchtime today. Sustained winds about 18-20. Gusts have got to be pushing 40. Had to bail out to the edges quite often.

Still, I'd rather have too much wind, than too little. ;-)

A little to gusty for my tastes today...

Today had a vented Barresi out. Good grief... the winds were high even for that!
