Limbo triple stack tuning

The middle to last kite is erratic at best. Is there anything I can to sync them back up? It's as if there is a huge latency from input to reaction, but only in the last kite?? Any advice is welcome!

Don't know the answer, but I've heard that when you're flying a stack, you might want to think about flying the last kite in the stack vs. the first. It may have less sail pressure as it's downwind of the other kites, so it may be less stable and take longer to react than the kites at the front. I know this is true with stacks of revs I've flown in the past. Revs at the back of the stack are less stable and wobble a bit more than the ones at the front if you overcontrol . . . .

You may need to lighten the inputs and slow them down to allow the last kite to catch up with the ones in the front.

Also, are the stacking lines all equal?

The uphaul stack lines on the last kite need to be longer than the kites in front of it. How much? Depends on the kite and the length of the stack lines. If they are too short in general, it will also cause this problem.

Hope this helps. If not, then get on the KiteLife forum and ask.

Great insights! I'll have it out today, so I'll bring my tape measure too.

Turns out it just needs a heap of windspeed to act civilized. Oh my goodness do they ever pull! Can't wait to get them out again! The sails make an incredible noise in strong wind!
