Indiana Trick Clinic

Postby Knoted4ever » Wed, Aug 20 2008, 09:30 PM

The Indiana Trick Clinic is coming up (Aug. 30th and 31st)! This is especially for dual line flying regarding performing tricks... but quad line and single line fliers fly during this a lot as well!

It involves an over-night camp (bring your tent) with camp fires and camp talk... and night flying with lighted kites if you care to do so. People bring food pot-luck style and it's $5 at the front entrance building for over-night camping.

The place consists of 1,100 pristine acres of endless mowed grass... and one lonely tree in the middle of it all! :mrblue:

It's a great place to learn and practice tricks and to just hang out!

I might be coming to this. Work's been a bit crazy lately, though, and it kinda depends on how busy I am. It was great fun last year, though! :-D

Hey Tom,

It looks like I will be able to make it, and I'll most likely be bringing another member of the Gateway club, too! :mrblue:

It was a whole lot of fun! The weather was cooperative and even the Saturday evening weather was very good (except there wasn't enough wind in the evening for a night fly... darn!) The night camp with the fire was really cool!... as were the many nice telescopes through which we were able to see some very interesting things (like Jupiter and its moons)! Great people and a great time... i'm sure glad that i went; it was superb! What a field!... it doesn't matter which direction the wind is coming from when all there is is vast acres of mowed grass! :mrblue:
