*** GUATEMALAN KITE ***

Postby Hector Herrera » Fri, Nov 10 2006, 12:04 AM

This is my first home made kite, my wife and I came with the idea after looking at a kite picture in KiteLife magazine, and I just tought I could make one, without any plans, instruccions nor any idea on how to make a kite like this, we only had but my willingness to do it,
"My Humble Home Made Kite was born".
And now it's my and my wife's pride.

That is a great kite. Is that Huntington Beach in the background?
That's the kite that caught my attention and is what caused me to introduce myself to you in H.B.

Yes Sir, yes indeed. And thanks to you, I had the opportunity to meet a couple of great kite fliers, John Barresi and Ron Despojado, who asked me to fly my kite. As you know Mike, for me it's a honor to have them fly my Humble Home Made Kite.
And now it's even more honorable when a kite flier ask me "for a try."
But the greatest of all was Mike,
who went to talk to the event promoter, and got me a pass, to participate in the event, awsome... Mike also loaned me a set of lines to do the flying, it was a thrill...
!!!! UNFORGETABLE, event, Unforgetable MIKE.
