Saturday may be tough. We are hosting dinner for some friends. If the weather is going to be clearly better on Saturday, I could come up early, but then leave somewhere around 3pm. Otherwise, Sunday would be more open.

We'll be on the south-end of the field (between the performance field and the art center) for a "Fun Fly" and get-together, along with Wisconsin Kiters Club members, in conjunction with the fest. :jester: If the field is taken over by the biggie SLKs we'll move to the lake-side of the field!

I'll be there both days, conditions permitting.

Hoping to see a bunch of IKEers (shirts) joining us!

FYI: Lolly Hadzicki (from Revolution) wil be there.

Welcome to the club. I'm sure you'll see Jynx up there, and a lot of the Wisconsin Kiters as well. I'm not sure how many IKE members are going Saturday (I might only make Sunday), but there's some overlap - i.e. people who belong to both IKE and Wisconsin Kiters. Hope you have a great time.

Anyone sure they're going tomorrow? I'm leaning toward tomorrow because it seems like a stronger wind prediction. Although both days have a poor direction. I'll only be able to stay until about 3.

Saturday is not looking good - we have too many kid's activities. I'll see what my wife says in the morning . . . .

Likewise. Hope you can make it to the retreat.

Nice day at Veterans today. Winds were a bit gusty/swirly, but we still had a good time flying and meeting lots of great kiting people. Unfortunately, I've used up all my kite points with my wife, so I won't be at Mots tomorrow . . . and I better hit the honey-do list pretty hard to earn some more points . . . . I think my next event will be the retreat.

Congratulatuions on your first fest and nice flying! Thanks for the ride, Say. Took the train home on Sunday, left around 6 pm, got home at Midnight, but it was well worth it. Won two SLK's in raffle, IKE members all did really well in both the raffle and the auction. Lots of new toys all around. Both Connor and Amy were gracious enough to autograph my blk/red SLE, even Jynx liked that modification! Thank you Connor and Amy! Met Lolly from Revolution KItes. Lots of great people both days. Special thanks to you, Jynx, for getting me to the train. Thanks everyone, I had a great time flying with all of you. Really looking forward to the retreat. See you soon.

P.S. -- I'll bring milk to go with the cookies and cheesecake.
