Saturday December 15, 2007. Club Fly in Bourbonnais

We'll have a December Club Fly at the Bourbonnais Soccer Fields: Map.

The usual hours, 10am to 4 pm.

In Spring, we'll probably move many of the club flies to Pontiac. They will open the bathrooms for us in Spring, however they turn off the water for winter and don't have facilities right now.
In Bourbonnais, there are porta-potties on the field and fast food places nearby.

If there is a blizzard, we may cancel the fly. I'll post the night before, so check back here on Friday the 14th.

He's not interested in it anymore. That's why I could get it without him noticing.

Hopefully there's some decent wind this time so I can keep it up. The kite, I mean.

Hello I.K.E. members -

I am the Director of the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park at Governors State University. I'm interested in exploring the idea of a kite fly focused on youth involvement in late March here at the park. We have loads of open land with no powerlines (we DO have trees . . . ) dotted with world-class contemporary sculpture. I'd like to communicate with someone in the club who could provide information about how this might be organized.

Thanks for any response -

Regards,
Geoff

We should be clear:
By all means contact David: he has years of experience with festivals and has run a kite store for years, but he doesn't represent IKE.
