Sounds doable if we can get any interest.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Interested, but just don't know yet about those days. If I'm in town, then yes (probably).
Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Very Interested. I think Rose mentioned Nov 15th and 16th as the nearest possibility and still open for me. Even if we get one or two rookies and one or two experienced pilots that would work. I learned this weekend there's really no substitute for just doing it. It's a completely different feel. I'll be practicing the moves in the mean time.

Either day works for me!
Re: Team Flying Clinic?
It seems we only have one person interested? Perhaps we should postpone this until spring?

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Um . . . I think it's more than one based on previous posts, but we haven't had many postings since Rose suggested a date. OK everybody . . . time to weigh in
Looking back at the thread, I see the following members are interested:
tmadz
swannie
basicbill
goestoeleven
backdraft
prairierose
trigger
illescasd
shari
kitevoice (but maybe not due to moving, etc.)
Plus they haven't posted, but I would not be terribly surprised to see Say and/or Mark, depending on location.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Yes, I'd like to participate if my skills (and confidence) meet minimum standards. But I may have a family commitment on one of those November dates.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
I am interested, unless the weather is horrible. Can make either or both days.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Bill, I thought that I was doing better by waiting, but it feels completely different. You just have to do it. Looks like there is enough interest to get together 11/15 and/or 11/16. Let's start talking location.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
St Charles east side or Busse? Or Montrose.
Re: Team Flying Clinic?
I'm totally willing to come up there, but it sounds like Steve is working with the Chicago folks during their regular flies and we may not need to have this clinic.
What do y'all think?

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
I appreciate what Steve's been doing. So that would be fine with me to continue that way. At least for now.

Do you really want us to learn all Stevens bad habits?

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
I'd still like to have a specific day to do this. Be it with Steve or Mike. It's a good reason to get people together.

Re: Team Flying Clinic?
Agreed . . . . I have plenty of bad habits. Judging from the recent pictures, the main one is eating waaaaayyyyy too much.
Plus . . . . all I was trying to do is get the group ready for a real session. My calling consists of "edges . . . go" a LOT and "follow me out." Sometimes I forget to say 180 . . . so yeah, it would be good to have someone else leading the group for a real team clinic.
