Just off where 90 & 290 come together. It's just off golf road here

If you are coming up 290 from the south, you exit at Higgins and head north to Golf on the frontage road.

It's also on the IKE map link at the top right of this page (next to the calendar link) or here . . . you'll just have to zoom in a bit . . .

OK I see it. Thanks.

Will this be wind dependent? Looks like 6 mph or less is currently forecast.

I'll be there if you folks can handle an inexperienced flyer hanging around. If the wind is low I don't think I'll have anything to fly except possibly a low wind SLK. Which is OK since I'll learn a lot by just observing.

I just got in from about an hour or so of flying when the wind unexpectedly came up this evening.

Hi guys -- my internet is back up now, finally.

Busse Woods is good, and a great place to fly. Six miles per hour is a sweet speed for flying Revs. Everyone is welcome to fly with us, whatever your skill level. Happy to help anyone learn to fly.

There is much a new flyer can learn, even without enough wind for him to fly. I have stuff in my bag that will fly in 1/2 mph wind, so don't let slow wind dissuade you from coming.

Looking forward to meeting the new flyers -- see you there.

That was great! Wish I could have stayed longer but I was reminded of an early dinner commitment. I sure learned a bunch. Those guys could not have been more helpful. I should have a few photos later. Here's a quick cellphone shot.

A seven minute video from the 19th at Busse Woods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsmhkgVTYXk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsmhkgVTYXk

The guys were flying in some very light winds.

I've no idea what model kites, frames, line length and strength that they were flying. Hopefully they will let us know. And this is currently on YouTube as "unlisted" so only those folks with the URL can view it. I'll make it public in a few days if there are no objections.
