So . . . I think I need to edit the first post / thread title. So far in November, I'm up to four fun days of flying with fellow club members, and maybe more to come. Awesome start to the month!

Nov 2 (St. Charles)
Nov 3 (Sugar Grove)
Nov 9 (Veterans)
Nov 10 (Champaign)

Next ??
Nov 29 - Busse (tentative for me)

Speaking if a cold November ... Right now the forecast is calling for 64 with a chance if rain on Sunday! Maybe an opportunity to try at the new field we were discussing in the car, Steve?

Man... the weekend weather is going down hill fast. It's still a few days off, but they're talking about 25mph winds with gusts to 50 ... I might be better off cutting one of my window screens into the shape of a Rev and trying to fly that... :)

Just bridle the frame, with some strings between the uprights to keep them in place. That venting should even out the gusts.

Let's keep an eye on the weather, but I'm thinking this weekend is probably out . . . .

Considering the Storm Prediction Center just issued a PDS and Tornado Watch until 4:00pm today, I'm going to go out on a limb and say no one is flying today ... http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/ww0561.html

I hope jeepster is OK. Just saw a picture from Washington, IL on the weather channel, and it looks like they got hit by a tornado. Not good.
