Sounds good. Right now, I am thinking a couple hours (not all day). Although . . . . I have been known to change my mind if the wind is good.

I believe this is the location (haven't been there yet myself):

Red Hawk Park

Had a good time today for about three hours at Red Hawk with illescasd and TJ. Wind was pretty variable - from "we need SULs" to full vent within a few minutes, but overall it was not bad. Beautiful morning with warm wind from the south. Nice to get out and fly some more.

Thinking about flying tomorrow . . . . not sure where/when (or if the wife will let me get away). If I do, it will probably be for a couple hours in the western suburbs.

Glad you guys got out and flew. I started this thing and I ended up so busy I didn't get a chance to go out myself. I plan on remedying that tomorrow. I will get out for a bit anyway. Happy Easter everyone!

. . . . I'm assuming you're going to fly at that park in Kankakee? That might be a bit far for me tomorrow . . . .

Really enjoyed getting out with Steve, David, and David's faithful companion. Great weather too.

Hi everyone,

My faithful companion (adventure dog) and I both had a terrific time flying with TJ, & Steve. My journey into the "Dark Side" was well rewarded, and I had a blast. I learned more in 30 minutes than in 3 months. Later that afternoon, I couldn't resist and flew a dual UL in the dying winds.

Thank you both, and cant't wait to fly with eveyone else as well,

Yeah look - for once I have my hands down and the kite up in the air instead of my usual "stretch Armstrong" routine.

P.s. also thanks for the photos
