For anyone not already having fun at KP - I have a couple hours Saturday [strike]afternoon[/strike] morning (I hope) and it's looking (very) windy. Good reason to break out the vented. Right now, I'll probably go fly for an hour or two at the horse track / field near the Danada Farm / Dupage Forest Preserve offices, if anyone is interested. I'm guessing I'll be out there [strike]around 2-4 pm[/strike] some time in the morning. [strike]I probably can't travel elsewhere as I have to be back home by about 5 pm.[/strike]

Update: my wife informed me last night that my plans don't mesh up with the kid's schedules very well tomorrow . . . I'll be ferrying them around pretty much all afternoon as she's going to be at a conference all day. Current flying plans are to (possibly) go out Saturday morning for an hour or two and then maybe get in another hour between 4:30-5:45 pm near St. Charles / West Chicago while I'm waiting for my daughter's lessons to finish. Sunday is out as it's Pinewood Derby day!

Well, I did get in the hour out near St. Charles, but it was coooollllld and variable wind. We need an icicle smiley for these wintry flying days. The weather forecast for Huntington Beach looked pretty good today . . . . maybe next year.
