Quick Fly - Nov 26 Or 27 Or 28?

Looking at the temperature & wind chill forecast . . . . I may regret this posting if somebody else actually replies . . .

However . . . anybody interested in another quick fly sometime this weekend - either Black "Flyday," Saturday or Sunday? I'm tempted to go out in the cold for two or three hours just to get some more flight time & practice.

Perhaps in the Wheaton (Danada Farm) / Lisle (Community Park) / Schaumburg (Busse Woods) / Naperville area?

Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving!

It was a cold day for flying today . . . . I was a popsicle in about 15 minutes, but I got in about 1.5 hours before I froze solid. We need a frozen smiley!

If anyone is interested . . . I might fly again tomorrow or Sunday. I'm a glutton for punishment . . .

I'm glad you're having fun! I'll usually fly if the windchill is above 20º.
I can't make it this time, I'm painting this weekend. Gallons of paint have been applied, and gallons still to go...

Thanks for the reply. I got in another couple hours today before the sun went down. Hope it's not the last time until spring. The good news is a friend of mine dropped by and he and his son spent some time learning to fly my revs so maybe I'll bring a couple more folks to the next club fly.

Maybe we should do some sort of Christmas/Holiday club fly?

A winter solstice fly.

Like they do "midnight sun" events in the summer in Alaska, we could have the "noon moon."
