I would love to be there but I will be a little further north and west. That is the weekend I will be at the Donald E. Stephens center for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals with my HHR.

Hope there is good winds and temps are not too cold. Have fun.

Hey, I have an idea for dinner after the Club Fly. The problem in Chicago is finding free parking near a restaurant.

IIRC there are tables in the old terminal building. Why not have dinner (like Pizzeria Duo) delivered to us. Save a lot of time and $$.

Anyway, just a thought.

Been there a few times. I have 2 Laklands. Both 5 string, one fretless.. GREAT instruments and GREAT service. They have always treated me very right..

You folks all have a good fly.

The 21st is Lynn's birthday, so we'll most likely go fly at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa.

Mike knows that park.

as much as I'd REALLY like to be there, I won't be able to.

My mom had surgery on Wed and they found cancer and took part of her lung. She's in the hospital till at least next Wednesday and I'd rather be with her. Sorry guys and gals.

For those of you not in the know, along with this, my wife's dad has been living with us for the last 5 weeks and will be with us a few more. He was also diagnosed with cancer and starts radiation treatments in a few weeks. He also had 3 heart attacks in the last 2 months. Fortunately, they were able to unclog him and he's getting much better. Just in time for the radiation to kick his butt. But he should be fine. AND, he is an absolute joy to have. We get along great and is little problem in my very small house.

They got all my moms cancer and she doesn't have to have anything more done so that's the good news on that.

This year has kinda sucked!
