It would be good to know who everyone is:
I think it is, from Left to Right as we look at the screen:

?, Ken, Jeremy, Lynn, Jim, Me

Who's the guy on screen left? (6th position in American team calling order)

ISTBC. I think it was John Mason if I am not confusing names up. I think he had a blue rev most of the time.

Are you sure that's Friday? I don't recall that group, and I don't recall the wind blowing that way while I was there.

Both the 6 person and 10 person team flys were recorded Thursday March 26, late afternoon. Hope that helps identify the team members.

(John's Bugs Bunny routine/s were snippets from both Saturday February 28th and Sunday March 1st).

John Mason flew a variety of home built Revs all week end ... some very neat looking kites. Dave B from Portland was the one flying the dark blue Revs all the time.

I watched Jynx's video again ... I remember that I got frustrated and went off to the left side to fly by myself. At about the five minute point, you'll see my fine Raspberry and Gold kite darting into the picture from the left.

Still kicking around in Arizona ... down in Sierra Vista tonight. Yes, I know there's nothing kite related in Sierra Vista. But, Jo Ann said this is where we're going for a day trip ... so here we are!

Cheers,
Tom

Thanks Jynx for clearing up when the six man was done. Thursday was my other guess as to when it happened. Tom King was the one flying next to me. I had to keep telling him to breath.

@Mike - ISTBC=I stand to be corrected.

And in this case I was! So, out of two answers I gave a grand total of two were wrong. Doh!

Arrived back in Illinois late Friday night ... so KP7 is officially over for us. We managed to stay ahead of the storms almost all the way back home.

Did you notice the drastic change in weather? Pretty sure I can explain the cause of the change. We delivered a vented B-series, KP7 rainbow kite (same color combination as Jynx's) to Jamie that he's been lusting over for the past four weeks. Yep, the winds and rain were too strong yesterday for him to fly it. And, this morning we've got several inches of snow. And, tomorrow he has to go back to work. There should be an official name for this problem of "a new kite and bad weather."

Cheers,
Tom

Those low ground passes with that huge stack were great.

Mike,

Thanks for the posting ... fun to see the view from the other end. Anne does great work on the camera.

Now, how about a post of out takes? Especially the one where the large kite train is chasing Jim across the beach ... never would have guess that Jim could move so fast.

Cheers,
Tom

Mike ~

Great job (to all) on the video!

If there was a Kite Exhibitionist class you definitely would score First Place. What a show!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again for having the faith (or insanity) to allow me to try out one of your smaller stacks... it was a blast! :thx:

Missin' you all!

Catch a ride down to Ohio, it's a good time. The free dinner with all the kiters is especially fun. We've run out of space in the rooms unless you want to sleep in a sleeping bag / cot. But you're more than welcome.

Or stir up some excitement about Chicago Kite's Glenview fest and get some IKE folks out there.
