He was just taking it for a test drive before the group fly. It was fine. We all were flying on 150lbs line set with the 3-4 wrap combo in the leading edge. I had already had the break all the way out on top and in all the way on the bottom of the handles. Such a HUGE BLAST of a time it was flying in those high winds with iQuad! :twisted:

I bet you guys are still finding sand in various nook and or cranies. :lol:

Winds were truly wild on Sunday! i flew a Mini-Gem for a while, but then even that kite broke! i never break Mini-Gems in high winds; but i did on that day! Pellets of sand would hit your face like little bullets; it was really something!
