Forum Needed

Hey, we're ramping up for the Dekalb Fest. One of the goals this year is to get more folks involved. That's begining to happen in the way of an offical committee of folks wanting to get involved. A really awesome group of people too! A large part of the communication efforts of this committee will be via internet and email. Is there a way to get a private group going here for this purpose? I'm not entirely sure this is the route we'd want to take, but thought I ask to be sure what our options are. It seems that an email list might be more along the lines of what we need.

TTFN,
Chris

I'm not opposed to having a private forum for things like this.

What I could do is set up a group that is only visible to people you want. We can make you a moderator for this group and then you have control over who gets added to the group...

FYI, us admins will always have access to this and any other group by default..

What do the other admins think?

Sounds fine to me.
Keep in mind, that all those folks will also automatically become members of IKE too since they will be signing on to these forums.
They will just have an extra forum category that only they (and us admins) will see.

Fine by me also, anything to help the fest-est grow and be larger then live, is always a plus.
