Welcome back Elix.

. . . . and you can't even see the UCS Millenium Falcon in the coffee table built by Mikey for the UCS Millenium Falcon! There's a tiny glimpse of it below the second picture. One of these days we'll need to get Mikey to post close ups of all the sets . . . .

Here is a photo of the table I made to display the falcon. This set is over 3300 pieces. And one of my other favorites. USC Shuttle. I will put up a picture of the shelves in the corner later.

That totally looks like it could make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

Hey - no getting "science" into Star Wars! Are you making a comment on Lucas confusing speed with distance?

Also,

You fly that thing? You're braver than I thought.

And to continue this off topic, topic:
Fans of Star Wars should be wearing Star Wars gear on the 16th.
Just google Katie Star Wars Day. Katie is a now nationally famous resident of Evanston, IL who... we'll I'll let you google if you don't know the story already.

Parsec is a measure of distance, but because of the Falcon's speed it could fly closer to gravitational anomalies. Hence cutting the distance down to 12 parsecs.
The table was the only way I was going to be able to display the Falcon, and have Shari's approval.
It is plexi on the sides. And that is the only thing holding the top up. The glass on the top is 5/16 plate glass.
My cat is so used to laying on top of the glass, and one day Shari had the glass off and was dusting the Falcon. The cat went to jump up on top of the glass and ended up landing right on the middle of the Falcon. Scared the cat but only knocked off a few pieces off the set.
When I get a minute I will take a picture of the corner shelves, Needs a dusting first. Which is about a 2 hour job.

You should encase your lego sets in carbonite. They will be very well protected (from dust) if they survive the freezing process, that is . . .

Have you seen the Han Solo in carbonite ice cube trays?

Should we start our own thread now that Mike is complaining about off-topic? :-P
