It was a REAL nice surprise to see Isaac over at Seal Beach, I enjoyed talking to him for a little while.
I was going to do a Quad demo, but my time was posponed several times and I decided not to wait and...
and finnaly I DID none. I felt frustaded when the guy running the show didn't give me my demo time, ON TIME,
so I asked him to return my music and left.
They don't know what they missed.
(By the way, I was teasing Isaac for not having his Red IKE T shirt... :-D  we were having fun...)

I was wondering about Isaac not wearing an IKE shirt--good thing you teased him about it.
I've never been to a kite festival where they were very organized. The demos never go as planned. Sorry you didn't get a chance to perform, Hector.

Yeah, I just happened to be in San Diego for a conference and Ben told me about the Seal Beach Kite Fest. I had my Revs of course so away I went.

Here are some pics from my cell phone.

The field reminded me of a mini Huntington Beach

Hector with his IKE shirt. I didn't have mine and he was giving me the business.

Ben and his collection was there.

Kids playing "catch the tail" with a fighter kite. This looked like fun. We should try this at our fests.

They had a 150 kite train. Looked like it was just hanging in the sky.

Gomberg brought the big stuff.

Japanese drummers were very popular.

Looks like a great time!
There used to be a guy up in Santa Barbara that would do a catch the tail thing with a fighter kite.
