Max. freezing capacity To retain the vitamins, nutritional value, appearance and flavour, freeze the food as quickly as possible. Do NOT exceed the max. freezing capacity of your appliance. The “Fast freeze” display indicates that Fast freeze is ON. The refrigerating Unit now operates continuously and the freezer compartment drops to a very low tempera- ture. Fast freeze automatically switches OFF approx. 50 hours after it was switched ON. Storage period To retain the quality of the frozen food, do NOT exceed the permitted storage period. The storage period depends on the type of food. At —18 °C fish, sausage, ready meals and cakes and pastries can be stored for up to 4 months, cheese, poultry and meat up to 6 months, and vegetables and fruit up to 8 months. Freezing and storing.
